One of the fastest and most delicious recipes that will make you second guess ever heating up the oven to bake a lasagna ever again. I have used frees dried foods for convenience but you can translate this into fresh food very easily.
Lasagna Soup with Freeze Dried Food
Ingredients:
2 tbsp. of minced garlic
2 tbsp. of butter
1/4 cup Freeze Dried Onions
4 tbsp. Freeze Dried Mixed Bell Peppers
1 tbsp. of Italian Seasoning
1 tsp. of Chef’s Choice Seasoning
(2) 14 oz. cans of diced tomatoes
6 cups water
1 tbsp. Chicken Bouillon
1/4 cup Freeze Dried Tomato Powder
1/4 cup of Freeze-Dried Tomato Sauce
1 cup Freeze Dried Ground Beef
8 Lasagna Noodles
Mozzarella, Ricotta, Parmesan
Directions:
- Heat a pot and saute garlic in butter
- Add onions, bell pepper, Italian seasoning, Chef’s Choice seasoning and two cans of diced tomatoes
- Add 6 cups of water
- Whisk in Tomato Sauce, Tomato Powder, and Chicken Bouillon
- Add Ground Beef
- Break noodles into small pieces and add to the soup. Boil until noodles are soft
- Serve soup in bowls and top with mozzarella, parmesan, and ricotta cheese
