We are so excited to invite you and your family to a special celebration as we launch two magical children’s books: Finding Fred Experiences an Ozark Mountain Christmas and Papa’s Magical Day. The event takes place on October 22, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Stone Castle Hotel at 3050 Green Mountain Drive, Branson, MO. The best part? It’s completely free!
A Truly Interactive Experience
The theme for the evening is Step Into the Story. We have created an interactive experience for each book that will make you feel as if you’ve walked right into the pages. Special activities will bring each story to life in ways you won’t forget.
Finding Fred Experiences an Ozark Mountain Christmas
Fred’s Christmas list gets a little too long, and his parents know it’s time for an adventure! So off they go to Branson, Missouri, staying in a magical castle. When they arrive, it’s spitting snow, and you’ll feel just as enchanted when you arrive at the Stone Castle Hotel because we’ll recreate that snowy scene.
During Fred’s holiday adventure, he attends five live Christmas shows:
- The Duttons
- The Haygoods
- The Clay Cooper Country Express
- The Baldknobbers
- The Hughes Brothers Christmas Show
At the book launch, each show will be represented by a performer who will be there to sign autographs in a special section of the book. This is your chance to meet some of Branson’s best entertainers and take home memories!
Papa’s Magical Day
In this heartfelt story, Papa gives Baby Duck a panda balloon at the start of their magical day. Baby Duck holds on to that balloon throughout her journey until she gains the courage to pass it along. Papa himself will be there handing you your very own panda balloon as you enter.
Book Launch Fun for the Whole Family
Each book will have its own storytime area, complete with themed rugs, life-sized cutouts from the stories, and special guests reading the books every 20 minutes. ASL interpreters will be present to make the event inclusive for everyone.
And what’s a storybook adventure without photo opportunities? Each book will have its own larger-than-life scene that you can step into for those perfect pictures.
Of course, we’ll have plenty of treats too, including a storybook cake that represents both books, as well as cupcakes, cookies, and theater-style popcorn to give the night that extra touch of magic.
Door Prizes and Giveaways
In Finding Fred Experiences an Ozark Mountain Christmas, Fred receives a guitar for Christmas, and we’re giving you a chance to win a Fender guitar—complete with a case, stand, and autographs from Branson entertainers!
For fans of Papa’s Magical Day, we’ll give away a large panda bear plush, just like the one Baby Duck holds dear throughout her journey.

Book Signing
Both books will be available for purchase on-site, and our book launch special offers one of each book in a darling book bag for only $30. I’ll be there to personally sign your books, along with the Branson entertainers.
