Tickets are now on sale for Disney’s highly anticipated Mickeys Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the year’s biggest bash! From August 17th to October 31st, 2023, the entire park and its cast will be transformed into a spellbinding Halloween boo-nanza. The party kicks off after the park closes at 7:00 p.m. and lasts until midnight on most nights. This exclusive ticketed event offers a range of exciting experiences that you won’t want to miss.

Trick or Treating

Trick or Treating remains a highlight of the evening, and regardless of age, everyone receives a bag upon entering Magic Kingdom. Cast members stationed throughout the park will have fifty-five-gallon drums filled to the brim with delicious candy. Indulge in more than basic treats like dumdums or tootsie rolls. On our recent visit, cast members generously gave out ‘two hand scoops’ full of mouthwatering chocolates. The lines were short; even after visiting just two stations, our bags overflowed with delectable goodies.

Costumes

Costumes are a central party feature, with both young and old getting into the spirit. The creativity and attention to detail in the family-themed costumes are truly remarkable. We were particularly enthralled by a couple in their fifties who flawlessly recreated Mary Poppins and Burt’s attire from the beloved movie. The rest of their family, including the little ones in strollers, dressed up as the dancing penguins, and they were absolutely adorable! Remember to review Disney’s specific costume guidelines, as these special costumes can only be worn during the ticketed party and not during regular park hours. It’s never too early to start planning your extravagant Halloween ensemble!

Happy Hallo-Wishes

Prepare to be enchanted by the Happy Hallo-Wishes fireworks show. As night falls, Cinderella’s castle transforms into a ghostly spectacle while notorious villains such as Ursula, Maleficent, Jafar, Cruella De Vil, and Oogie Boogie attempt to take over the hauntingly beautiful fireworks presentation. The eerie sounds of classic Disney melodies, including the iconic Haunted Mansion soundtrack, set the tone for this nighttime extravaganza. Don’t worry, though, while it’s a Halloween-themed show. The entertainment is not truly scary. Instead, it’s presented in a way that elicits laughter from kids and adults alike.

Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular

The Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular takes center stage with live performances in front of Cinderella’s castle. The mischievous Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus, accompanied by other beloved Disney villains and talented dancers, command the stage for a thrilling Halloween performance. Arriving early is advisable to secure a good view and seating.

Halloween Dance Parties

Dance parties are a delight in Tomorrowland; they take on an extra dose of mischief during the Halloween party. Expect appearances from characters like Cruella De Vil, the wicked stepmother, and the two awful stepsisters, who are guaranteed to bring laughter to the dance floor. During the event, there are two party locations: Tomorrowland near the People Mover and Frontierland by the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon. These dance parties offer fantastic photo opportunities you won’t miss capturing.

Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade

The highlight of the evening is Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, led by the legendary Headless Horseman as he gallops down Main Street. The cast of The Haunted Mansion takes center stage in this action-packed procession. During our visit, we had the incredible experience of Madame Tremaine and her two selfish daughters joining us in the street for twenty minutes of dancing before taking their places to watch the parade. It was an unforgettable interactive moment that immersed us in the excitement of the Halloween celebration.
